Title:
NONAQUEOUS OXYGEN GENERATING AGENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05193905
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve portability and to immediately supply oxygen in the case of need by combining the calcium peroxide and urea-hydrogen peroxide adduct as the oxygen source with a solid oxygen generation accelerator.

CONSTITUTION: The calcium peroxide and urea-hydrogen peroxide adduct as the oxygen source are combined with a solid oxygen generation accelerator to constitute a nonaqueous oxygen generating agent. Acid calcium pyrophosphate, acid sodium sulfate, etc., are used as the accelerator. The peroxide and accelerator should be finely powdered. The peroxide and the accelerator are placed in an gas-permeable container, separated by a perforated plastic film, etc., and used. The film is broken by crumpling the container, hence the peroxide and the accelerator are mixed, and oxygen is generated.
