Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R1 is H, lower alkyl or acetyl; R2 is H or Cl; R2 is H or CO2R6 (R6 is H, lower alkyl or alkali metal); R4 is H, trifluoromethyl, cyano, aminocarbonyl or CO2 (R7 is as shown for R6); R5 is H or CO2R8 (R8 is R6)].
EXAMPLE: 3,5-Bis(methoxyacetylamino)-4-chlorobenzonitrile.
USE: Useful as an antiallergic agent effective for bronchial asthma, urticaria and allergic rhinitis.
PREPARATION: A diamino compound shown by formula II is reacted with an acid chloride shown by formula III in an aprotic solvent such as pyridine or chloroform in the presence of a base such as pyridine or triethylamine to give a compound shown by formula I.
