A novel compound of the following formula:
as well as acid addition salts thereof, and a method for the preparation of the novel compounds, are described.
Said compounds are valuable intermediates in the preparation of the antidepressant drug 1-(3-dimethyl-aminopropyl)-1-(4 min -fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydroisobenzufuran-5-ca rbonitrile.
