Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R1 is alkyl, haloalkyl or phenyl; R2 and R3 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or alkoxyalkyl; R4 is heteroaromatic ring containing O, N or S).
EXAMPLE: α-(1,3-Dimethylpyrazol-4-ylcarbonylamino)-(2-thienyl)acetonitrile.
USE: A fungicide for agriculatural and horticultural use.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a compound of formula II with an aminoacetonitrile of formula III or its salt in an inert solvent at 0W5°C for 0.5W4hr. When an aminoacetonitrile salt is used as the starting compound, a base necessary for neutralizing the compound (e.g. pyridine can be used also as a reaction solvent) is added to the reaction system.
