Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sound field-restricted call/conversation means in which a sound field is restricted to a patient in a bed.SOLUTION: A nurse call system comprises: sound field-restricted call/conversation means 2 in which a sound field is restricted to a patient in a bed; patient action estimation means for estimating the patient's body motion by using a frequency characteristic of a generated sound and its generation position; urgency determination means 10 for determining urgency of the patient's request from body motion information obtained from the patient action estimation means and information other than language such as breathing included in voice; and response plan creation means 7 for creating a nurse's response plan on the basis of the determined urgency. The response plan creation means comprises: nursing information control means 12 for notifying the nurse of a response procedure instruction based on the response plan and state information on the patient; and patient handling control means 11 for, if necessary, autonomously making a conversation with the patient so as to eliminate the patient's anxiety.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
