Title:
OCCULT BLOOD QUANTITATIVE ANALYSER AND HEALTH JUDGING STOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05273206
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and inexpensively measure the accurate amount of occult blood in a house, in an analyser mixing a chemiluminescent substant with excretion to generate chemiluminescence, by attaching a metal ion treatment device on the way of the collecting route of excretion.

CONSTITUTION: A urine sampler 4 is attached to the interior of the toilet bowl 3 of a health judging stool 3 and a metal ion treatment device 5 is arranged on the way of the route of the urine sampler 4. Urine discharged into the toilet bowl 3 is collected by the urine sampler 4 to be mixed with the tap water after metal ion treatment supplied from a tap water treatment device, the luminescent reagent such as Luminol supplied from a reagent tank 10 and the chelating substance supplied from the metal ion treatment device 5. Since the chelating substance is supplied to the urine sampler 4 by the treatment device 5, the mixed sample is masked with the chelating substance even if a metal ion is present in the occult blood measuring route in the urine sampler and, when occult blood is contained in urine, occult blood is reacted with the luminescent reagent supplied from the tank 10 to quantitatively generate chemiluminescence corresponding to the amount of occult blood.
