Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a life of a battery that serves as a power supply in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An occupancy verification device 1 includes a locking and unlocking monitoring unit 2 using a battery as a power supply of a power supply unit 8 and mounted to a lock case 11 serving as an indoor expression member of a locking device 10 provided in a door 12. When the locking operation from the indoor side of the locking device 10 is detected by the locking and unlocking monitoring unit 2, the timing of occupancy monitoring time is started with a timing unit 5. When the occupancy monitoring time to be timed elapses and becomes a resident abnormality determination time, an abnormality occurrence signal is output. According to the abnormality occurrence signal that is output from the timing unit 5, an outdoor informing unit 3 provided at an outdoor expression member of the locking device is driven and the abnormality is informed. In the locking and unlocking monitoring unit 2, when the locking operation of a thumb-turn 15 being an indoor side operating member is detected, the power supply of the power supply unit 8 is started. When the locking and unlocking operation of a cylinder lock 17 being an outdoor side operating member is detected or the unlocking operation of the thumb-turn 15 being the indoor side operating member is detected, the power supply of the power supply unit 8 is stopped.
