Abstract:
To provide an occupant detection device with which good detecting accuracy is available without using a number of load cells or a load cell with a wide measuring range.
In this device, the lower end of a seat cushion 20 is fitted to a bucket-shaped weight receiving member 21, and the weight receiving member 21 is vertically movably mounted on a floor panel 11 via a seat frame 22. Also, a load cell 29 which is pressed when the weight receiving member 21 is pressed downward and displaced is mounted on the seat frame 22.
