To provide an oil based ink composition having excellent drying characteristics of a print, distinct stamping characteristics to a stamping surface which has low absorptivity, usable as a stamping ink free from decreasing of the stamping characteristics while opening the stamping ink bed for a long time, as a marking ink from inhibition of writing caused by dry up of the penpoint, in addition, as an ink for a ballpoint pen having excellent drying characteristics and free from troubles of bleeding of ink on the adhered as a ink for an ink jet, etc.
This ink composition consists of 20-95wt.% of a solvent comprising at least one selected from among alcohols, ethers, esters having vapor pressure of 0.005-45mmHg at 20°C, and having 13.0-20.0 of variance term δd, 1.0-10.0 of polarity term δp and, 5.0-20.0 of hydrogen bond term δh in Hansen's three dimensional solubility parameter, 0.001-10wt.% of an additive agent suppressing solvent vaporization containing ester derivatives of polyvalent alcohols, 0.001-30wt.% of at least one kind of additives selected from a group consisting of solvent soluble resins and surfactants, and 1-50wt.% of coloring agents.
