PURPOSE: To machine a work machined hole accurately in a desired hole form by providing a control device to control the operation of a piezoelectric actuator according to preset machined hole form data and by interlocking with the rotation and axial feeding of a quill.
CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric actuator 11 to displace a tool in the radial direction of a quill is provided in a tool holder. Also a control device 55a to control the operation of the piezoelectric actuator 11 according to the preset machined hole form data and by interlocking with the rotation and axial feeding of the quill is provided. Next, a device is controlled according to the machined hole form data preset by the control device 55a in work machining and by interlocking with the rotation and axial feeding of the quill so that the work machined hole becomes a true circle when the work is assembled, the piezoelectric actuator 11 is operated, the tool is displaced in the radial direction of the quill, and a work is machined. As a result, a desired hole form can be machined so that the work machined hole becomes a true circle when the work is assembled.
