Abstract:
PURPOSE: To safely transport an oil while suppressing the environmental pollution caused by the oil.
CONSTITUTION: Unrefined oil or refined oil is mixed with fine powder or powder of vegetable and transported in the form of a solid solution containing the oil dissolved in the fine powder or powder in solid state. At the same time, harmful substances are extracted and converted to be soluble in water by the treatment with a water/alcohol/hexane mixture, an organic solvent or an alkali solution or by steam distillation and removed in the form of salts. The oil component is subjected to fractional distillation.
