Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-package low-temperature-curing clear coating material which, even when backed at low temperatures, can cure to form a cured coating film having excellent staining and acid resistances without detriment to the flexibility.
SOLUTION: This material comprises a resin component containing an acrylpolyol having a hydroxyl value of 60-200KOHmg/g, a crosslinking agent containing a blocked isocyanate as the essential component and a melamine resin as an optional component and a blocked isocyanate dissociation catalyst essentially consisting of a dicarboxylate of dibutyltin, and satisfies the requirement that the weight ratio of the blocked isocyanate to the melamine resin is 100/0 to 30/70. The glass transition temperature of a cured coating film obtained from the material is 50-65°C.
