An operation display device for a washing machine includes: a touch panel display part 38 which has a liquid crystal panel 34 which displays washing conditions and setting buttons; and a transparent plate 31 which is arranged so as to be overlapped with the liquid crystal panel 34 and which has a transparent electrode 33 on a rear surface, and which performs an operation by touching the transparent plate 31 with a finger. The washing conditions are displayed in the setting buttons, and sizes of the setting buttons are different for a case where the washing conditions are displayed in the setting buttons and for a case where the washing conditions are not displayed in the setting buttons. Thereby, necessary information can be precisely conveyed to a user, visibility of a screen is enhanced, grasping of the washing conditions and identifiability of the setting buttons become better, and operability is improved.
