Abstract:
To provide an operation management system capable of being increased in a site area in which a storage shelf of articles can be arranged to enhance an article storage efficiency.SOLUTION: In an operation management system, layout information including information of a position and a direction of each storage shelf and a position of a conveying vehicle is held; when a direction of a storage shelf of a moving object in a present location is not coincident with a direction of the storage shelf scheduled in a destination, a rotation direction and a rotation angle for changing the direction of the storage shelf of the moving object in the present location to the direction scheduled in the destination are determined based on the layout information to search a moving route from the present location to the destination so as to include at least one rotatable lattice in which obstacles disturbing the rotation of the storage shelf are not present in a periphery to convey the storage shelf of the moving object from the present location to the destination via the searched route, and the conveying vehicle is controlled so that it is rotated to the determined rotation direction at the determined angle in the rotatable lattice.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
