Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to switch an automatic locking type lock to a latch through the control of fingers, if necessary.
SOLUTION: An inside hole having a non-circular cross section is formed in a retractor shaft 14 of a latch bolt used for a dead bolt, and while, a second control level 22 of a square shaft is loaded to an outdoor side control member 19 loaded to the outside of a door in a turnable manner in the longitudinal direction in a slidable manner, a circular-shaped section 22a not thicker than a round bar internally touched to the inside hole of the retractor shaft 14 is formed in the end of the indoor side. In the case of latching, a deformed section 22b of the second control level is fitted to the retractor shaft to connect the retractor shaft 14 and outdoor side control member 19 to each other, and when it is switched to automatic locking, an interlocking projection 21a projected to a first control lever 21 is lowered from a slope 25 driven by a control tang 28 to move it to the outdoor side, and the deformed section 22b of the second control lever is extruded from the inside hole of the retractor shaft 14.
