Title:
OPHTHALMIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02121626
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten a measuring time, to conserve the space of a consulting room or optometry room and to reduce the cost of a machine by executing the measurement of the shape of the cornea of an eye to be examined and that of the intraocular pressure of said eye using one ophthalmic machine.

CONSTITUTION: In an alignment detection system 1, an alignment index is projected on the cornea C of an eye to be examined and the reflected light from the cornea C is formed into an image on a photodetector CCD 5 and alignment detection is performed on the basis of the signal from the aforementioned photodetector. In a non-contact type intraocular pressure measuring system, a fluid is emitted to the cornea of the eye to be examined from a nozzle 3 and the cornea of the eye to be examined is deformed while the cornea of the eye to be examined is illuminated by intraocular pressure measuring light and the reflected light from the cornea is detected photoelectrically to measure the intraocular pressure of the eye to be examined. Further, in a cornea shape measuring and anterior part observing system 2, a predetermined index is projected on the cornea of the eye to be examined and the cornea reflected image of said index is detected by a photodetector CCD 5 to measure the radius of curvature of the cornea on the basis of the shape of the cornea reflected image.
