Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the ophthalmoscopic device of an integral type which is small in size and can smoothly inspect the eyes for far sight and near sight by constituting the device in such a manner that the visual line direction connecting the eye to be examined and the mirrors disposed in front of the eye and used to guide the luminous flux of a visual target toward the eye and the optical path of the visual target of a reflection optical system for repetitively reflecting the luminous flux within an ophthalmoscopic table intersect diagonally with each other on a plane view.
CONSTITUTION: The luminous flux of the visual target is reflected four times by the mirrors 11, 12, 14, 4, by which the distance between a patient 9 and a screen 13 is set at 5m of the ordinary ophthalmoscopic distance for far sight. The visual line of the patient 9 is inclined by α on the plane view relative to the optical path of the visual target of the mirrors 11, 12, 14. The ophthalmoscopy for near sight is executed by shifting a test letter optotype 7 for near sight of a subjectoophthalmoscope 6 toward the patient in the case of the execution of this ophthalmoscopy. Further, the check for near sight using a trial frame is executed by swiveling and moving the subjectoophthalmoscope 6 toward the right side of the patient and viewing the book on an ophthalmoscopic table. Then, the ophthalmoscopy and check for farsight and near sight by the subjectoophthalmoscope 6 and the trial lens are executed in the state of extending the mirror 4 for carrying out the ophthalmoscopy for far sight.
