Title:
OPTICAL DISK AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08306069
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To satisfactorily mass-produce optical disks each having large capacity and excellent in signal quality.
CONSTITUTION: Pits or grooves in an optical disk are formed with a photosetting resin 202 on a substrate 203 consisting mainly of a cycloolefin polymer. At this time, a master 201 having a pattern formed with a silicon wafer is used and the surface of the substrate 203 is activated so as to enhance the adhesive strength of the photosetting resin 202 to the substrate 203.
