Title:
OPTICAL DISK RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2684629
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To start a recording without waiting for a disk rotation when a recording start instruction is received by providing a control means for at least more than one optical disk so that a recording stops after a no signal recording is made when a recording stop instruction is inputted.
CONSTITUTION: In a condition in which effective recording data are recorded in an optical disk 1, when a recording stop instruction is received, a system control section 10 recognizes a time code of a current recording and a recording is stopped by this time code. Then, the device is set so that a invalidate (no sound) encoding of the recording data starts from a next time code of the time code where the recording was stopped. The completion time code of recording data invalidate (no sound) encoding is computed so that a recording is stopped after no signal recording is made over one circumference of the disk 1. When a recording start instruction is received, a means is provided to start a recording from the no signal recording section. Thus, a recording is started without waiting for the rotation of the disk 1 when a recording start instruction is received.
