Abstract:
To provide an optical head device and a method for manufacturing the device in which optical parts can be adhered and fixed with high accuracy to the frame.
In the optical head device 1, a recess 315 for holding an adhesive to reserve an adhesive 310 is formed on the side face 311 of the frame 3 in the adhering and fixing part between the frame 3 and a photodetector 11. By injecting a unhardened photosetting adhesive 310 in a specified amount into the recess 315 for holding an adhesive, the adhesive 310 is formed into a uniform shape so that the photodetector 11 can be fixed in an accurate position.
