PURPOSE: To eliminate troubles such as cracks of a thin film layer and a peeling from a board by forming a signal pattern surface with resin having no urethane group, and introducing the urethane group into a boundary with the layer.
CONSTITUTION: In an optical information recording medium a desired thin film layer 3 containing a recording layer or a reflecting layer is laminated on a signal pattern face of a board 2 formed with a signal pattern 1 on its one side face. The board 2 is formed in a desired shape by injection molding resin containing no urethane group such as acrylic resin represented by PC or PMMA, and the urethane group of polar functional group is introduced at least into the pattern face. As a result, a resin material for forming the signal pattern face and an inorganic film or a metal film for forming the thin film layer 3 are bonded by a strong force such as hydrogen bond or covalent bond to improve adhesive properties. Accordingly, troubles such as cracks of the thin film layer or peeling of the layer from the board can be eliminated.
