The optical recording medium has at least two optical recording layers (11, 13) stacked via an intermediate layer 12 at least on one side of a medium substrate 10, and a light transmission layer 14 placed on the optical recording layers, and emitting a light to the optical recording layers (11, 13) through the light transmission layer 14 records/reproduces information. The intermediate layer 12 includes at least one layer of ultraviolet ray curing resin film filmed in advance and the film is cured while forming a rugged shaped corresponding to recording pits or a rugged shape (12p) acting like guide grooves on the surface.
