Abstract:
To provide an optical unit of a stereoscopic endoscope that reduces flare, prevents cloudy field of view, and is excellent in assembling efficiency.SOLUTION: An optical unit of a stereoscopic endoscope includes: a tip lens 51 having a first surface, a second surface, and an outer peripheral surface and including a pair of negative lenses 61, 71 on the second surface; a light shielding plate 52 having a pair of aperture openings 52c, 52d arranged on the second surface of the tip lens 51 and regulating light flux passing through the pair of lenses 61, 71; a positioning unit integrally included in a predetermined position of the second surface of the tip lens 51: and a positioning hole provided in a predetermined position of the light shielding plate 52 and corresponding to the positioning unit. A positioning center of the light shielding plate 52 and a reference point of the tip lens 51 are arranged concentrically in a first housing recessed section 11, and opening centers of the pair of aperture openings 52c, 52d are arranged on optical axes of the pair of negative lenses 61, 71, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
