To provide an organic light-emitting element excelling in light-emitting efficiency and durability which uses oligofluorene compounds.
The organic light-emitting element includes a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a layer containing organic compounds which is sandwiched between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, wherein the layer containing the organic compounds includes at least one kind of oligofluorene compounds represented by general formula [I]. In the formula [I], R1 and R2 are each an alkyl group; and n is an integer of 4 to 10. R1, and R2 may be identical or different and also R1 and R2, each substituting for a mutually different fluorene ring, may be identical or different, where at least four among all the substituents expressed by R1 and R2 are alkyl groups of carbon numbers of four or more; and at least four among all the substituents are alkyl groups of carbon numbers of one or two, and n is an interger of 4 to 10.
