Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin-film transistor which is high in carrier mobility, small in change in threshold voltage even after suffering the repetition of activation, and high in dissolubility in an organic solvent.SOLUTION: An organic thin-film transistor comprises a semiconductor active layer which includes a compound expressed by the general formula (1). (In the formula, Aand Aindependently represent a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom or a selenium atom, and Rto Rindependently represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group, provided that at least one of Rto Ris a substituent group expressed by *-L-R; L represents a divalent coupling group, or a divalent coupling group consisting of two or more divalent coupling groups coupled together; and R represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an oligooxyethylene group whose repetition number is two or larger, an oligosiloxane group having two or more silicon atoms, or a trialkylsilyl group.)
