To provide an outdoor unit of low noise suppressing leakage of sound generated in a machine room to the external in operation.
The outdoor unit 2 includes a partitioning plate 18, a bottom frame 8 and a water draining flow channel 31. The partitioning plate 18 partitions the inside to define a blast room 17 and the machine room 19. The bottom frame 8 has a contact section 8e, an inclined section 30a and a back-side end section 8b. The contact section 8e is tightly kept into contact with, at least, a half area Ar3 at a front side of a lower end 41 of the partitioning plate 18. The inclined section 30a is formed at a lower part of the machine room 19 to guide the water from a front side to a back side. The back-side end section 8b is formed at a back side of the bottom frame 8. The water draining flow channel 31 is formed on the back-side end section 8b of the bottom frame 8 or its neighborhood to guide the water guided to the back side through the inclined section 30a, from the machine room 19 to the blast room 17.
