Abstract:

To obtain cost-effective, small, lightweight, highly efficient outer rotor type brushless DC and AC servo motors by utilizing a winding method having no coil end and the structures of a stator and a rotor.

In three-phase power supply driving, a magnetic circuit is constituted of U-, V-, W-phase coils 10-12 that are wound as split in the axial direction of the stator and arranged in such a way that the ring center of each coil almost corresponds to the center of a rotating shaft 90, inner stator cores 21-23 provided on the inside circumferential side of each coil, and side stator cores 24-29 provided on both end sides in the axial direction. Protruding magnetic pole teeth 30-35 are formed on the outside circumferential side of the side stator cores alternately at positions displaced by π (rad) at an electric angle in the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft sandwiching each coil. Furthermore, the magnetic poles of each coil is stacked in the axial direction by being displaced from each other by 2π/3 (rad) at the electric angle in the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft.
