Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the collapse of a pad layer consisting of a polyolefine foamed sheet by blowing gas into a cavity after injecting a molten polyolefine at a low pressure. CONSTITUTION:The rear surface of a thermoplastic elastomeric sheet and the front surface of polyolefine foamed sheet are allowed to thermally adhere to each other to obtain a two-layer sheet. The two-layer sheet is then vacuum- formed on the cavity 3 side of a vacuum forming mold to obtain a vacuum- formed product having a recess so that a pad layer 2 consisting of the polyolefine foamed sheet constituting the two-layer sheet obtained faces the inside of the recess of the vacuum-formed product. In the last process, the vacuum-formed product is put in an injection mold, and thereafter, said mold is closed, or in a case where an injection mold capable of performing vacuum forming is used, said mold containing therein the vacuum-formed product is closed as it is. Thereupon, a molten polyolefine the amount of which is not large enough to fill up the recess of the vacuum-formed product in the cavity 3 is injected into the cavity 3 from a nozzle 4, and thereafter, gas is continuously blown into the cavity 3 from the nozzle 4.
