To shorten the working time by performing the setting work of a telephone device without unpacking and packing a packaging box.
A packaging box 1 of a telephone device is formed by cutting and folding one corrugated fiberboard to store a telephone device 2, a handset 3, and a power supply adapter 4. First and second tongue pieces 45, 50 are provided on a part of the packaging box 1, and the first tongue piece 45 is folded along folds 44, 46, 47 to form a pressing part 48b. The pressing part 48b is pressed against a hook switch 77, the second tongue piece 50 is folded along a fold 49, and inserted in a cut 56a of an upper face part 56 to regulate the raise of the first tongue piece 45. In this state, the hook switch 77 is maintained in an ON-hook state by the pressing part 48b, and the setting work is performed in the ON-hook state while the telephone device 2 is stored in the packaging box 1.
