Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the abrasion of the selvages of a drier canvas by forming the flame-coated film of a hard alloy material having good conductivity, heat resistance and abrasion resistance on the surface of a palm for the travel guide of a drier canvas.
CONSTITUTION: A flame-coating film 1b is formed on the surface of the substrate 1a of the palm 1 of the drier canvas 1b through a proper binder 1c. The flame- coating film is formed from a hard alloy material (e.g. Ni-Cr-No alloy) having good thermal conductivity, heat resistance and abrasion resistance. The durability of the drier canvas is improved and the palm itself is further not injured.
