To arrange a side panel 11 for desktop in a standing manner on an upper face of a top plate 2 without forming holes for mounting.
A connecting means has a clamp body 91 having an appropriately U-shaped opening in a lateral view for fitting to a front edge part of the top plate 2, and a long bolt 87 piercing a side frame 71 of the side panel 11 for desktop from above. The clamp body 91 has an upper overlapping part 92, to which the long bolt 87 is screwed downward, and a lower overlapping part 93 abutting on a front lower face of the top plate 2. A step part 94 is formed on the upper overlapping part 92 so as to be fitted from below to, each opening groove 83 formed in right and left ends of a baseboard 73. The long bolt 87 is screwed downward in the step part 94 of the upper overlapping part 92. The step part 94 is fitted from below to the opening groove 83 of the baseboard 73 and the clamp body 91 is pulled up so that a front edge part of the top plate 2 is held from above and below by the lower overlapping part 93 and a lower face of the baseboard 73.
