PURPOSE: To automatically correct the dislocation of the edge positions of printing paper sheets by detecting both the edge of a winding paper being used and the edge of a new winding paper by first and second detecting means respectively, and also providing a control mechanism by which, on the basis of the signals of these detecting means, a winding-paper supporting member is driven by the driving mechanism for aligning he edges of both the winding paper sheets in a prescribed position.
CONSTITUTION: To align the edge positions of winding paper sheets 21A, 21B, a detecting-means driving mechanism 60 is driven for moving first and second detecting means 25, 26 to the side of the side of the winding paper sheets 21A, 21B respectively. By the detecting signals based on the edge positions of both the winding paper sheet 21A being used and the new winding paper sheet 21B, which are detected by the first and second detecting means 25 and 26, via a winding paper supporting member 30 is driven by the driving mechanism 60 via a control mechanism 50 for aligning the edge positions of the paper sheets.
