To provide a paper feeding controller of gathering machine in bookbinding system, capable of finishing book binding which does not affect the finishing accuracy of bookbinding at all times irrespective of cutting processing time of a cutting machine in a bookbinding system in which a gathering machine, a perfect bookbinding machine and the cutting machine are connected.
The bookbinding system of connecting the universal gathering machine in which paper feeding devices A to F are arranged along such a direction that a conveyor piece between conveyance pawls 3 moves, the perfect book binding machine and the cutting machine are connected with a conveyor is provided with a shift register 21b in which recording elements for setting whether or not paper feeding is performed from respective paper feeding devices A to F to the paper feeding control device 21 of the gathering machine are arranged and a circulation shift register (intermittent operation setting memory) 21c in which recording elements for inputting the number of continuous paper feeding volumes and the number of interval volumes and for recording the contents of them are arranged, wherein, on the system operation, on the basis of a signal from the encoder 23 emitted in a prescribed position of the conveyance pawls 23, the contents of the heading recording elements of the setting memory 21c are transferred to the heading recording elements of the shift register 21b.
