PURPOSE: To prevent a paper from slacking by providing a 1st pressing roller whose hardness is equal to a forward feed roller and pressed thereto, an auxiliary feed roller higher than the forward feed roller and arranged in a delivery direction, a 2nd pressing roller lower than the forward feed roller and pressed to the auxiliary feed roller, and making a peripheral speed of the auxiliary feed roller in the forward direction faster than the forward feed roller.

CONSTITUTION: As the hardness of a 2nd pressing roller 29 is the lowest, it is easy to set a pressing force with respect to an auxiliary feed roller 24 to a small value having a little irregularities. As the hardness of the auxiliary feed roller 24 is the highest, it easily slips with respect to a paper 33 even if it is rotated with a peripheral speed faster than a peripheral speed of a platen 3 at rotating in the forward direction, so that there is no possibility to give an excessive stretching force on the paper 33. Also, when the paper 33 is to be returned to a reverse direction, the auxiliary feed roller 24 follows up with rotation due to the stretching force of the paper 33, so that there is no possibility to give the excessive stretching force on the paper 33. Accordingly, slacks of the paper 33 can be always prevented and the paper 33 can be conveyed with an accurate feed quantity.
