Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper fibril yarn comprising a paper yarn having a soft feeling, a method for producing the same, and a textile product obtained by using the same.SOLUTION: A paper fibril yarn is composed of a twist yarn of paper yarns or a twist yarn including a paper yarn. Part of cellulose fibers constituting the paper yarn is fibrillated and exists as fibrils. Part of the fibrils exists as fuzzes on a surface of the paper yarn. The method for producing a paper fibril yarn includes: subjecting a twist yarn formed by twisting paper yarns alone or a paper yarn and the other fiber yarn to a fibrillation processing to separate part of cellulose fibers constituting the paper yarn from a binder of paper to form fibrils and to make part of the fibrils exist as fuzzes on the paper yarn. The textile product is a textile product including the paper fibril yarn and is at least one selected from a woven fabric, a knitted fabric and a braided fabric.
