Abstract:
To provide particles for a display device capable of displaying also a feeling of metallic gloss such as gold, silver or bronze and to provide an image display device using the particles.
The particles for the display device having a positively or negatively charging property and colors (gold, silver and bronze, and including pigment tinged with metallic gloss) tinged with metallic gloss are prepared utilizing a wet process and freeze drying process, these particles are encapsulated between two electrodes and voltage is suitably applied to the particles to form an image.
