Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition insertion device which folds a flat tabular partition material into a prescribed shape and enables insertion of the partition material so that the interior of a box is vertically partitioned.SOLUTION: A partition insertion device 2 which comprises a robot 1 having an arm to a tip of which an end effector is connected and a partition retainer 60, and which folds a flat tabular partition material B into a prescribed shape and inserts the material into a box A. The robot 10 has transfer means which detachably moves a partition B, and comprises an end member 21, which has an upper wall 22 to which an arm tip 11a is connected, side walls 23a, 23b of which surface directions cross the upper wall 22, and a tabular part 24 which is projected outward from the side wall 23b, on an end effector 20 of a first arm 11. The partition retainer 60 has a partition retaining surface 61 facing the robot 1, and the partition retaining surface 61 comprises holding means which detachably holds the partition B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
