Abstract:
To increase the use of card settlement transactions between companies.SOLUTION: A payment proxy device comprises: an application acquiring unit for acquiring a payment proxy application that applies for a payment proxy of a transaction between a seller and a buyer; and a payment proxy processing unit that executes advance payment processing for paying a payment amount in accordance with a transaction amount included in the payment proxy application, in response to the payment proxy application acquired by the application acquiring unit, and that executes collection processing for collecting, from the buyer's account, the amount of money to be collected in accordance with the transaction amount, by using a settlement card for a card settlement. The payment proxy processing unit functions as a virtual affiliated store corresponding to an affiliated store of a card company for performing card settlements, and executes processing for collecting, from the buyer's account, the amount of money to be collected, in collecting processing, by the use of the card settlement as the virtual affiliated store.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
