Abstract:

To provide a periodontal membrane trainer that can appropriately encourage the development of a sensor function of an infant by giving various stimulation to his/her periodontal membrane when he/she bites the trainer.

This periodontal membrane trainer comprises a ring-type holding portion 51 to be held by a user and biting portions 22, 13, and 23 which are projected and radiate outward from the holding portion 51, and the biting portions have recesses and projections on their surfaces. Among the biting portions, a first and a second biting portions have different patterns of recesses and projections. The top part of each biting portion is narrower than the width of the user's mouth and wider than a dent that is in the roof inside the user's mouth and where a nipple is placed. The end part of each biting portion has a control part that is made wider than the width of the user's mouth, and the length between the top part and the control part of each biting portion is set shorter than the length between the tip of the user's lips and the front end of the dent.
