Abstract:
To provide a composition, wherein an inner phase includes trimetazidine and an outer layer includes a retarder and an anti-aggregation agent, for sustained release of trimetazidine.
In a composition: a retarder is selected from among ethylcellulose, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose acetate propionate, cellulose acetate phthalate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose acetate succinate and/or polymethacrylate; and an anti-aggregation agent is selected from among talc, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, stearic acid and/or sodium fumaryl stearate.
