Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the new derivative having fungicidal and insectcidal activities.
CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula I {n is 0 or 1; W is H, halogen or the like; X is CHOCH3, NOCH3 or the like; Y is O, S or the like; Z is O or NR6 [R6 is (substituted) 1-4C alkyl, (substituted) (condensed) aryl or the like] or the like; R1 is H or (substituted) 1-4C alkyl; R2 is H, (substituted) 1-4C alkyl or the like; R3 is H, (substituted) 1-4C alkyl or the like; solid line.broken line bond is single bond or double bond}, e.g. 2-methoxyimino-2-{2-[3- oxopropenyl-(E)1]-phenyl}-methyl acetate ester is obtained e.g. by heating the compound of formula II (B is formula III, formula IV or the like) to obtain aldehyde of formula V in the presence of an N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide and reacting the resulting compound in the presence of a compound of formula A-COCH3 (A is aryl), a base or an acid and if necessary a dehydrating agent.
