Title:
PICKING MOTION IN JET LOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3820994
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking motion in a jet loom, capable of avoiding a backflow of air and a cost problem.
SOLUTION: In this picking motion of the jet loom, groups 13-16 of auxiliary picking nozzles are each connected to an upstream-positioned air tank 19 through electromagnetic on-off valves 26. And, the groups 13-16 of auxiliary picking nozzles are each connected to a downstream-positioned air tank 20 through electromagnetic on-off valves 27. Check valves 37 are each mounted on flow paths located on the downstream sides of the electromagnetic on-off valves 27. The electromagnetic on-off valves 26, 27 are subjected to excitation and demagnetization control with a control computer C. The control computer C controls excitation and demagnetization of electromagnetic on-off valves 17, 18, 26, 27 based on information on a rotation angle of the loom which is transmitted from a rotary encoder 38 for detecting the rotation angle of the loom.
