Title:
PIEZOELECTRIC VIBRATING GYRO
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3521315
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrating gyro whose structure is simple, in which the influence on a gyro characteristic due to the derivation, the support and the fixation of an input/output lead terminal is small, which can be supported firmly and whose vibration-resistant and shock-resistant characteristic is superior.
SOLUTION: A first pair of partial electrodes 15, 15' which are faced by keeping a prescribed interval are formed on a piezoelectric plate 14 having a polarization axis in the thickness direction, and an energy confinement vibrator in a first parallel electric-field excitation-type thickness slide mode is constituted. A second pair of partial electrodes 16, 16' which are faced by keeping a prescribed interval in a direction at right angles to a line connecting the first pair of partial electrodes 15, 15' are formed on the piezoelectric plate 14, and an energy confinement vibrator in a second parallel electric-field excitation-type thickness slide mode is constituted.
