Title:
PIEZOELECTRIC VIBRATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001044785
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a vibration which has a satisfactory aging characteristic and where an electrode is formed with only one vapor deposition by using an alloy, which essentially consists of silver and has palladium and copper added or essentially consists of silver and has palladium and titanium added, as the electrode material.

Partial electrodes 2a and 2b facing each other are stuck to both principal surfaces of a quartz substrate 1, and lead electrodes 3a and 3b are extended from electrodes 2a and 2b toward the end part of the substrate 1, thus forming a crystal resonance element X. This crystal resonance element X is stored in a ceramic package, and lead electrodes 3a and 3b are electrically connected to each other and fixed to terminal electrodes of the package with a conductive adhesive or the life. Fine adjustment to a prescribed frequency is performed to hermetically seal them in prescribed atmospheric nitrogen, thus constituting a crystal resonator. An alloy, which essentially consists of silver and has palladium and copper added or essentially consists of silver and has palladium and titanium added is used as materials of electrodes 2a and 2b and lead electrodes 3a and 3b.
