Abstract:

To provide a pile-woven carpet which achieves reducing of weight and folding over by providing reversibility and flexibility, without any need of ordinary backing, improves the contact with a floor surface softer, and prevents generating of noise or scratches caused by the floor surface when walking and moving on the floor.

The pile-woven carpet is composed of ground warp yarns 11, ground weft yarns 12, core warp yarns 13, and pile warp yarns 15. The ground weft yarns 12 are placed on top and bottom of core warp yarns 13 one over the other, a base layer is formed by locating warp yarns core 13 in immediate proximity to the ground weft yarns 12 by the ground warp yarns 11, and net piles are formed with pile warp yarns 15. Thermal adhesive fiber 14 is combined with the core warp yarns 13 and net piles are formed on both top and bottom of the core warp yarns 13. The thermal adhesive fiber 14 is melted to attach and fix the base part of the net piles onto the base layer.
