Abstract:

To provide a cord yarn for piles of a mat having abundant bulkiness, dust removing and dust collecting properties and elasticity, good comfortableness to tread and excellent designability and the mat using the cord yarn.

The cord yarn is a twisted yarn composed of at least 2 yarn groups and having ≥2,000 dtex. The cord yarn has a yarn A comprising parts where mutual single filaments are fused. The ratio of the yarns A accounts for ≥25% fineness ratio of the twisted yarn is and the color difference ΔE* between the yarn A and the yarn other than the yarn A is ≥1.0.
