PURPOSE: To drop and discharge downward punched scraps of a printed board by sustaining lapping pins with the printed board and then pushing up the printed board while intercepting the retreats of the pins with a blind plate, and thus the pins are pressed into the printed board.

CONSTITUTION: After each pin E is supplied to every one of 100 vinyl tubes BB fed from a supply unit, is is pushed into a guide hole 16a in a middle plate 16 through a receiving hole 15a in an upper plate 15 and retained by a printed board 14 on a lower plate 13 making pressing contact with the middle plate 16. Then, the lower plate 13 and middle plate 16 are lowered by a predetermined distance, and a blind plate 20 projects between the upper and middle plates 15, 16 to intercept the retreats of the pins E. Under this condition, a cylinder 4 is again operated to lift the lower plate 13 and the printed board 14 to press the pins E against the blind plate 20 so that the pins E are pressed into small holes in the printed board 14. Then, punched scraps are dropped down through a receiving hole 13a to be accumulated on a vertically movable base 7.
