Abstract:
To provide a pinching detection device of an electrically-driven slide door capable of accurately detecting pinching without being affected by the environment around a vehicle, aged deterioration, and replacement of parts.SOLUTION: A pinching detection device 1 for an electric sliding door 2, which detects pinching of the electric sliding door 2 when the electric sliding door 2 of a vehicle is closed by driving a motor 3, includes: a drive control unit 10 for applying a voltage and a current to the motor 3 to drive the motor; a load detection unit 20 which detects the load of the motor 3 based on the value of the voltage and/or the current from the start to the completion of the closing operation, and outputs the detected load as a load value; a pinching determination unit 40 for determining whether or not a pinching has occurred during the closing operation; and a storage unit 30 for storing only the load value when the closing operation is normally performed as a normal load value, and the pinching determination part 40 determines whether or not a pinching occurs based on the load value during closing operation and the normal time load value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
