Abstract:
To provide a pipe cleaning device, which can effectively remove a foreign substance (for instance rust and dust) generated in an inner wall of a pipe in a comparatively smaller number of cleaning operation in comparison with a cleaning pig for cleaning inside of the pipe.SOLUTION: The pipe cleaning device comprises, in at least either one of a pair of pigs P1 and P2 provided side by side in a pipe-axis direction along a pipe axis of a steel pipe Py, a movement force transmitting part 30 that transmits force moving in an advancing direction along the pipe axis, polishing materials K1 that are sealed into a cleaning space SK externally surrounded by the pair of pigs P1 and P2 and the inner wall of the steel pipe Py to polish a foreign substance adhering to the inner wall of the steel pipe Py, and a stirring force applying mechanism that is sealed into the cleaning space SK to apply stirring force to the polishing materials K1 or stirring materials K2 which transmit stirring force to the polishing materials K1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
