CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for chamfering the end of a pipe 1 made of a synthetic resin to be embedded in the ground is equipped with the moving base stand sliding along the guide 3 provided to the base stand 2, an energizing means 5 energizing the moving base stand in a specific direction, the manual handle 6 supported on the moving base stand 4, the cutter shaft 7 cooperating with the rotation of the manual handle 6, the cutter 8 provided to the cutter shaft 7 in a freely detachable manner and a clamp mechanism 9 provided to the position facing to the cutter 8 in the base stand 2 to clamp the pipe 1.
